TweetFacebook Miss Multiverse Australia Gabrielle KeatonGabrielle Keaton, 21, of New Lambton,has reached the final 10 of the world Miss Multiverse pageant underway at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The competition began November 18 with 30 competitors from around the world competingin physical and mental challenges before the field was narrowed to 10 finalists on December 2. The finalistsare now competing for another week before the winner is crowned on December 9.

The other finalists are from Lithuania, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Ukraine, France, Canada, US and Sweden.

The MissMultiverse formula is relatively new.The entire experience is filmed for a reality TV series.

One of the highlights for Keaton was wearing an original piece for her national costume for a modelling contest. The elegant white dress featuring 3D printed Sydney Opera House motives and coral motives from the Great Barrier Reef was designed byartistErica Gray and architect ZoranZivanovic.
